Add a record to many-to-many relationships (map/list) with a button
Ian Miller
Currently, many-to-many relationships (i.e. apply to a job, join a group, etc.) can be accomplished only with a checkbox UX control (see https://help.adalo.com/component-basics/toggles#toggles-in-lists). For example, two-sided products/marketplaces need a many-to-many relationship where one side is applying to the other side. In the current interface, I can add an item as a favorite, save it to a list, etc. but I can't apply/submit myself to that thing (a project, a job opening, etc.) apart from using a checkbox control. A button is a much more standard and expected UX control for this function (i.e. a button labeled "Apply to this job/group/etc.").

This for me is easily the most vital ingredient missing from Adalo. Many upvotes from me.

Hello Thanks to have propose this feature, I have the same problem : When creating a contact I would like to add Food Recipes he/she likes, so I would like to select Food Recipes (from a collection) with the many-to-many relationship between CONTACT & FOOD_RECIPES.

Vincent Levasseur: see the date night template for how to add a record to a favorite. If you only need to save something to your personal list, then this pattern works.
