Bulk Modify Existing Data

Now you don't need any workaround to trigger actions in bulk because Hidden Trigger is here! Check out its features:
- Create automated actions that run in the background
- Connect with lists and set up delayed actions
- Execute actions in bulk without showing them to end users
Streamline your app’s functionality with seamless background operations.

Just a kind update to push this item as we don't have any sustainable workaround to bulk update records and it's a recurrent need.
- Adalo API doesn't allow to bulk update from external tools like Integromat (we can update only one record at a time)
- As Victor said, the workaround based on the countdown timer is good for a few records but not for hundreds of records as Adalo uses the client side capabilities (the user smartphone). It's much too slow and doesn't work well.
Thanks

Truncate all records function for Collections
Egor Kunovsky
We have CSV import which adds new records to the Collection and CSV export that is still kinda buggy but most likely will be functional soon.
What is missing is the possibility to remove all data from the collection while keeping data structure.
Current scenarios for changing many records at once are
- Editing them in Adalo interface one by one
- Deleting them in Adalo interface one by one and then CSV import of the changes made in a more functional spreadsheets software
- Deleting the whole collection and then re-building its data structure and the whole app from scratch
I guess adding a “Truncate” button can be the missing ingredient that can make the current CSV import and export fully usable.

Update Multiple Records in Integromat

The Adalo Modules in Integromat are amazing, but I really need a module for updating all users or all filtered users! I am losing a lot of operations because of this issue...

Multi-Actions

Allow a click action to trigger several other actions on the screen. This would be helpful when you have input fields within a list that all need to be saved at once rather than saving them item by item.
It could also be called batch processing of data or a bulk update action.

When uploading a csv to a Collection, need to be able to select option of replacing with current data or updating. Currently, I have to delete the entire collection if I want to replace the data

Adalo database automatically detect the new changes when we import file
Ian Miller
Agreed, when testing, it's a common need to add some junk records, reset to see empty states, etc. A truncate option would make testing workflows much easier. Egor Kunovsky is it possible to upload an empty CSV as a workaround? I could see keeping a testing set of data in one CSV and a "truncate" (empty) CSV per table being useful. These would be similar to other frameworks which have conventions for seeding a database and resetting it.

Ian Miller: yes, this sounds like a plan, thanks
