I agree, this is important.

My work around in the mean time:

visible text input for password
invisible text input called showPassword that can store “yes” or “no”
button whose action changes input value of showPassword to yes
visible text that shows magic text of password

This allows the user to see the password they entered, helping them to confirm that what they entered is what they intended to enter.

I saw this function in my dream, someone posted "yeah, Confirm Passwor is finally released" on the youtube.

Today, I searched it upside down, and finally realized (or convinced) that it was a dream.

Agree I don't know how we dont have this. Its really key to users activation. And they only enter it once. So they can't see it a password visibility button to double check makes sense.
